My Safe Visit to Disney and Universal Orlando!

My recent experience in Walt Disney World and Universal Studios as far as mask restrictions, social distancing, and implementing safety protocols made me feel safer than going to a grocery store. Online check-in via your 'My Disney Experience' app is highly encouraged. Per usual, before I even arrived to my resort I received a room-ready notification via text so I was able to bypass the front desk. Make sure you have your MagicBand ready to unlock your door or can also use My Disney Experience as a digital key. I've never felt safer!

Before you enter the parks, quick temperature checks are required

for all guests at entry. After the bag & security check, scan your ticket/magic band (No finger scan) and your in! Once you're in the park it is very easy to social distance with lower crowds. Everyone, both cast members and guests ages two and older are required to wear a face-covering – unless swimming or when eating or drinking. There are relaxation stations scattered throughout the parks - inside & outside, where you can sit, relax, and take off your mask.

The safety protocols put in place are fantastic such as hand sanitizer around every corner, before & after every ride. Hand washing stations that positioned around the parks that you use your foot to operate. While standing in ANY queue you will literally have your own space bubble which I loved. Just be careful not to advance to the next marker before the party in front of you gets to their next one. All the rides or shows are spaced leaving the rows in front or back open. Cast members are working super hard cleaning high-touch areas and surfaces more frequently and attractions are cleaned around every two hours.

The Disney & Universal experience was amazing as usual however, I did miss the parades & fireworks. Since I did not have small children with me I was totally fine with the character experiences from afar and the 2-minute cavalcades.

Contactless and cashless payment options are highly encouraged and to order any quick service meals you must use the mobile ordering on your My Disney Experience App.

As much as I am looking forward to things getting back to normal... I had a great experience! Let me help plan your next Walt Disney World visit! Start Planning Here! http://bit.ly/LBartleyQuoteRequest
